Board of Trustees
Manny Singh J.D., is a member of the Board, and serves as Chairman of the Board. Mr. Singh is a legal and financial professional with over three decades of experience in both areas. He is currently the Business Development Director and a co-founder (in 2024) of NAMM Capital Ltd., a Cayman Islands– based investment firm focused on building a global platform that seeks to generate capital growth and financial returns through innovative and sustainable investment strategies. He also is a co-founder (in 1998) and is president of First Bankers Capital, previously a correspondent lender and now a consulting firm servicing special assets. Mr. Singh also owns and operates the Law Offices of Manny Singh since 1985.
Mr. Singh holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Marketing) from Florida Atlantic University and a Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law.
Rishit Patel
Rishit Patel, is a member of the Board. As Senior Vice President and Regional Controller of AECOM Tishman, a construction management and building delivery firm, he oversees the financial performance of New England construction projects and leads the development of regional business plans, financial models, and income statements. In that role since 2006, he provides executive leadership in forecasting, budgeting, and gross-margin management while optimizing G&A performance and strengthening financial governance across projects. His portfolio includes many of New England’s most high-profile projects, such as the Institute of Contemporary Art, WGBH Headquarters, MGM Springfield Hotel and Casino, Sentinel Data Centers, and the Four Seasons Hotel and Residences. Mr. Patel holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from Bhikhabhai Jivabhai Vanijya Mahavidyalaya (BJVM) College and a Master of Business Administration from Clark University.
Dr. Sanjay Shah, Ph.D.
Dr. Sanjay Shah, PhD, is a member of the Board. Dr. Shah is the Founder (in 2000) and Principal of EBS Consulting, a Worcester, Massachusetts based management consulting firm specializing in strategic planning and operational excellence for senior management teams. Prior to that, he had several positions of increasing responsibility at Wyman-Gordon Company, his final position being Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning and Business Development, where he was the primary contact for the acquisition of the company by Precision Castparts in 1999. During 1994 to 1999, Dr. Shah helped with a strategic plan that grew Wyman-Gordon revenues from $250 million to $800+ million with an EBITDA growth to 20%. Dr. Shah has served on several boards, including Duncan Parking Technologies, Reliant Medical Group (where he was the chair of chief executive officer search committee), Mohegan Council of Boy Scouts of America and currently serves on the board of Reliant Foundation, Wyman-Gordon Foundation and Hanover Theatre. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Gujarat University, Ahmedabad, India and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
Prasanna Kidambi, CPA
Prasanna Kidambi, CPA, is a member of the Board. Mr. Kidambi is also a Partner at Stowe & Degon, LLC, a Massachusetts-based certified public accounting and advisory firm and current service provider to Taurus (“Stowe & Degon”) with more than twenty years of experience guiding clients through the complexities of tax planning, compliance, and financial strategy, the last seven of which were with Stowe & Degon. For about four years before, Mr. Kidambi was a senior tax manager at Ernst & Young, and he was with Stowe & Degon for several years before that. Mr. Kidambi holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Mumbai and a Master of Business Administration from Clark University.
Dr. Nirali Rana
Dr. Nirali Rana, is a member of the Board. With over 20 years of experience in healthcare and healthcare technology, Dr. Rana is a licensed pharmacist and holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy Studies and a Doctor of Pharmacy from Northeastern University. Currently, Dr. Rai serves as the Director of the R&D Efficiency Program at Takeda Pharmaceutical Company’s R&D Center of Business Excellence, where she leads program and change management since 2021. Throughout her four-year tenure at Takeda, Nirali has held several key roles, including Director of Policy & Priorities, Program & Change Management Lead for two transformational R&D programs, Digital Dexterity Lead, and Change Management & Communications Lead for a global patient recruitment program. In the three years prior to that, Dr. Rana holds an executive leadership position at a start-up, RX Advance, where she spearheaded managed care technology implementation, built clinical programs as well as global teams, and directed business development efforts.
